Gurugram – In a decisive move to strengthen its project execution backbone, Datta Power Infra Private Limited (Datta Infra), a rapidly growing company in India’s infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, has appointed Veerender Kumar as Head – Project Management Office (PMO). A seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in solar EPC, transmission, and infrastructure development, Veerender’s appointment comes at a time when Datta Infra is rapidly scaling its renewable energy footprint across the country.
Over the years, Veerender has built a reputation for turning complex project pipelines into structured, high-precision delivery engines. At Datta Infra, he will focus on building scalable planning frameworks and enhancing performance oversight across all project functions.

Before joining Datta Infra, Veerender served as GM–PMO at Avaada Energy, where he oversaw scheduling and delivery governance for high-capacity solar projects. His 15-year stint at Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy saw him rise from Engineer to Deputy GM–PMO, leading critical projects in India.
An Electrical Engineering diploma holder, Veerender is known for his analytical approach to execution, vendor ecosystem alignment, and data-driven performance frameworks.
